Al Mouj Golf Club

Al Mouj Golf at Al Mouj, Muscat is a links style course offering amateurs and professionals alike a challenging, yet rewarding, round of golf. Running alongside a six-kilometre stretch of white beach, it is a 7,342-yard course of lush green grass peppered with bunkers, water hazards and natural dunes. International golfing legend Greg Norman is responsible for the magnificent design of the 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course at Almouj Golf. 

The new Greg Norman course offers truly unique characters with each hole offering something different from the last. He and his design team were mindful of maintaining the panorama of the ocean and the spectacular vista of the Hajar Mountains. On a clear day you almost feel as if you can touch the mountains.

In 2016 Almouj Golf was voted as #2 Best Course in the Middle East by Golf Digest Middle East magazine.

There is also a floodlit 9-hole Academy Par 3 Course, which shares much of the same inspiration as the Championship Course but with holes varying in length from 50 to 150 yards, it is ideal for golfers of all ages and abilities. Set to the majesty of the Hajar mountains and within earshot of the rugged Muscat coastline the Academy Par 3 Course allows golfers to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and thanks to being fully floodlit, continue to do so long after sunset. The Academy Par 3 Course is a walking only course but complimentary pull trolleys are available for those who wish.
